Stopped by with a party of 11 with 2 toddlers. We decided to try this place since it was close to where we were staying. My table ordered 4 fish and chips, 1 Philly steak, 1 salad, 2 hamburgers , 1 turkey dinner, 1 fried Haddock, and 1 kids chicken finger meal. The food was praised around the table as tasting fresh and well prepared. Quality ingredients were obvious in the breads and homemade tartar sauces. Portion sizes were generous especially for the fair prices. Fries were local, Cavendish brand, bit of a missed opportunity to do hand cut but this is a minor complaint. The restaurant was busy and service was still excellent. We were a fussy bunch asking for this and that but the staff did a good job of keeping pace. Coffee flowed quickly to every mug and drink refreshes were on offer at appropriate times. Almost the whole table opted for homemade desert. The table had 2 slices of blueberry pie, 2 blueberry cake and brown sugar sauce, 1 carrot cake slice, 1 brownie and 1 crunch cake. Dessert was praised all around, I sampled 3 of the deserts above and all were excellent. We were told dessert was homemade and I believe it. Portion sizes there were generous as well.I would recommend this place to anyone.
A nice local spot to grab a bite to eat or play a round of golf. With delicious daily specials you can feed the family for a good price.
I really enjoy eating at Peakes tee. The food is great and the service even better! I really enjoy the wings and the onion rings and fries! Delicious! The chicken dinner is fantastic too! The salads are very good! The deserts, wow, My favourites are the Blueberry pie and the Pecan Pie and the Bread pudding yum!Really I could go on and on, love the bacon burger platter. You just have to drop in and try it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed! The staff are great, friendly and very knowledgeable!
This is where the locals go. Great value and food and staff super friendly. Home cooking.
The restaurant is quite good but this is for the golf course. It's very well maintained considering the owners' age and I sincerely hope there's some way to keep it open beyond this year. The tee boxes and fairways are in excellent shape, most greens as well and they play somewhat fast which is good. Challenging for a course with no par 5s - great value.
Great food at a reasonable price. Service was awsome will be definitely coming back
It is a very cozy place. We enjoyed spent some time there.
We visited this restaurant 3 times in the last year, I highly recommend it, the food is hot, fast and as described in the menu. Very personable staff. We’ll be back for sure
